NDC ARE LIARS – GREAT AMPONG

Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong  (Great Ampong) has been in music since 1996 . In recent times he has worked  with some past contestants of Ghana’s hit singing competition, Mentor which includes Isaac the Showboy, Erico and Cee and has produced mega gospel hits  songs including Jordan, Osofoo Kasa, Hossana. He came to Accra as a hustler in 1996 to pursue a soccer career. Before then he had engaged in “galamsey” activities at Tarkwa.

In an interview with him concerning how his affiliation with the political party New Patriotic Party (NPP) his affected his level of popularity   and income since he did a campaign song for the flag bearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo Addo who just lost to his incumbent opposition flag bearer of the (NDC) National Democratic Congress John Mahama.

He stated emphatically that he does not feed from the pockest of both parties and that he works as a professional musician who as a result of business will do a song for any of the parties that needed his services.

He was further asked whether he knew about about the rumors spreading in the media that he  run away from the country because he saw that the NPP were losing to their opponents and that he has now returned to plead with some top officials of the NDC to help him get back to his feet because his music career is backsliding.

He debunked the allegations that were being leveled against him stating that he would never bow to any political party and human being or yet still beg anyone for food because the good Lord that serves has seen him through worse things than he see now and he hopes that mercies and grace will continue to flourish in his life as long as he live in the countenance of the God.

to add to that he made it clear that if what he is hearing is true then he must confess that the NDC are full of disrespectful,liars and nation breakers and that they should not be trusted because if they can fabricate falsehood against him then they can do it to anyone else because he never flee out of the country but he just went to perform with a friend of his in Canada and he is now back.
